Wendalyn "Wendy" Taylor Hoskins, 50, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Monday, November 4, 2024, at 6:41P.M. at her home in Greenwood. Services are 1 P.M. Friday, November 8, at Malmaison Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Tanner and Rev. Eddie Carpenter officiating. Interment will be in Malmaison Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, November 7th from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Greenwood Delta Funeral Home.
Wendy was born in Greenwood, raised in Carroll County, and graduated from Greenwood High School. She was a talented pianist and also had many spiritual gifts which she used for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Wendy was the pianist at Malmaison Baptist Church and also devoted her time to the youth as their leader and Sunday School teacher. She loved, Jesus, her church and her family.
Wendy is survived by her husband Willie Earl Hoskins of Greenwood; mother, Brenda Tanner Taylor of Teoc, her daughter, Dominique Alise Brown of Teoc; sons, DeAngelo Quarles of Teoc, Toby Brown of Grenada; step daughters, Lucille Moore of Memphis, Patrece Banks of Augusta, GA, Jasmine Self of Jackson; step-sons, Willie Hoskins, Jr. of Greenwood, Patrick Self of Greenwood; sister, Robyn Thornton of Teoc; brother, Neal Taylor, Jr., of Sunrise, FL and 9 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Toby Brown, DeAngelo Quarles, Patrick Self, Willie Hoskins, Jr., Tyler Thornton, Rev. Miles Rainey, Joseph Gentry, and Jeremiah Gentry. Honorary pallbearers are the current and former youth of Malmaison Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to Malmaison Baptist Church Youth, St Jude Children’s research hospital or the charity of donor’s choice.
