Tommy McCrory, 65, passed away at Merritt Health in Jackson Monday November 24, 2025. Funeral services are 11 A.M. Monday, December 1 at Greenwood Delta Funeral Home with interment in Delta Height Memorial Gardens. Rev. Zak Podewils will officiate.
Tommy was born to Harold and Edna Boyles McCrory and had been a longtime resident of Greenwood. He worked for Sonic for 26 years and later for 9 years with Home Hardware Center. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, where he served faithfully with the men’s ministry. Tommy could always be depended upon for church building projects and assisting many people at home with projects such as handicap ramps etc.
Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Tyler Dean McCrory and two brothers, Billy McCrory and Tim McCrory. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Dean McCrory; three brothers, William McCrory of Duncan, Stoney McCrory of Greenwood, Roger McCrory of Bentonia; and two sisters, Carolyn Harris of Greenwood and Mary Childs of Orlando, FL.
Pallbearers will be Bubba Irwin, Bobby Box, William Tucker, Ritchie Fulgham, Alvin Woods, Russell Robertson, Bill Gardner and Tony Dunn. Honorary pallbearers are Doug Walker and Mike Hanson.
Memorials may be made to the Immanuel Baptist Church Building Fund.
