Ruby Inman

Ruby Massey Inman, 81 passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Sardis Community Nursing Home.  Funeral services are 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at First Baptist Church with interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.  Rev. Steven Sims will officiate.  VisitationI is from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Tuesday at the church.

Ruby was born to Rubin and Cora Elrod in Red Bay, AL. She moved to Mississippi as a teenager and lived many years in Sardis.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Sardis, loved spending time with family, cooking, puzzle books and the Wheel of Fortune.  She was preceded in death by her parents and two husbands, F. T. Massey, Jr. and Barney E. Inman and a grandson Jake Johnson.

She is survived by two daughters, Cathy Still and her husband Boots of Sardis, Pam Mattox and her husband David of Batesville; three sons. Freddie Massey and his wife Sharon of Sardis, Cliff Inman and his wife Joyce of Sardis, Tim Inman and his wife Judy of Courtland; a sister Sylvia Sims and her husband Robert of Hamilton, MS; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Still, Joshua Still, John Michael Still, Brad Johnson, Stan Inman and Danny Holden.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or the charity of donor’s choice.
