Robert Leslie Jordan, Jr., 69, passed away suddenly Monday evening, January 3, 2022 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. Graveside services are 2 P.M. Friday, January 7 at Odd Fellows East Cemetery with Rev. Pete Roncali officiating. Visitation is from 5-7 P.M. Thursday and also Friday from 1-2 P.M. prior to the service at Greenwood Delta Funeral Home.
Leslie was born in Greenwood to Robert Leslie and Mary Ramsey Jordan and had been a lifelong resident. He worked for over 40 years for Airgas as a salesman. He enjoyed playing golf, watching his grandchildren play sports, MS State University sports and dirt track racing. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Randy Jordan.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Vadie Young Jordan; two sons, Bobby Jordan (Nikki) of McCarley and Andy Jordan (Stephanie) of Cordova, TN; three grandchildren, Griffin Jordan, Jules Jordan and Reece Jordan and a sister, Cheryl Stubbs (Billy) of Coila, MS.
Pallbearers will be Cale Ainsworth, Chad Killebrew, Justin Lewis, Terry Green, Jr. and Mark Jennings.
Memorials may be made to the Greenwood Humane Society, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the charity of donor’s choice.
