Obituary

Richard Adair Colvin, 87, died Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi.

Adair was born October 14, 1934, to Earnest W. “Dick” Colvin and Rebecca Hovis Colvin. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Beverly C. Smith and his brother, Harold Colvin.

Adair leaves behind his loving wife of 27 years, Barbara Allen Colvin, his daughter, Pshone Colvin Grace (Michael) of Gluckstadt, his son, Richard A. “Rich” Colvin, II of Memphis, TN, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

His family will have a celebration of life at Calvary Baptist Church on Hwy 82E in Greenwood, MS, on May 28 at 3:00PM. Visitation is from 2:00 - 3:00 P.M. prior to the service.Family and friends are welcome.
