Randy Goss, 71, passed away Friday, December 12, 2025, at his home in Greenwood. Funeral services are 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 16th at Greenwood Delta Funeral Home with interment in Odd Fellows East Cemetery. Dr. Jim Phillips will officiate. Visitation is from noon-2:00 P.M. prior to the service.
Randy was born to William K and Velma Brewer Goss in Ruleville, raised in Leflore County and graduated from Greenwood High School. He worked for many years in insurance sales and as a salesman for Star Tobacco Company. He was a car enthusiast, loved working in his yard and spending time with family. He was a great husband, father and Papa. He loved more than anything else than to spend time with his grandchildren.
Randy was highly regarded and loved by all who knew him. He had a wonderful sense of humor, fun personality and always was joking around. He was a warm loving and caring man, who loved the Lord with all of his heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Terry Van Goss. He is survived by his wife Debra Stoker Goss; two daughters, Judy Goss Crowder of Hattiesburg, Terry Goss Sheppard (Landon) of Greenwood; a son, John Trent Harrison (Keely) of Greenwood; a sister, Vicky Patridge (William) of Greenwood; a brother, Bill Goss (Trellie) of Greenbriar, TN; eight grandchildren, Terra Lynn Crowder of Hattiesburg, Hunter Hensarling (Laykin) of Hattiesburg, Garrett Crowder of Hattiesburg, Easton Harrison, Parker Harrison, Brooks Harrison, Ollie Brewer Sheppard, Landie James Sheppard all of Greenwood and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John Patridge, Chris Shaw, Easton Harrison, Parker Harrison, Garrett Crowder and Hunter Hensarling. Honorary pallbearers are Dennis Jones, Allen Fox, Jerry Roberts, Jeff Brown, Steve Harris, Bill Goss, Billy Goss, and William Patridge.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s hospital, K-Love, INC or the charity of donor’s choice.
