Perry Joe Williamson

Perry Joe Williamson, 66, passed away Friday, November 28, 2025, at his home in Carroll County.  Funeral services are 10 A.M. Wednesday, December 3, at Greenwood Delta Funeral Home with Rev. David Bartlett officiating.  Interment is in Hillview Stone Cemetery.  Visitation is from 9-10 prior to the service.

Perry Joe was born in Helena, AR, to Franklin and Evelyn Perry Williamson, and graduated from Hughes High School in Hughes, AR.  He worked in construction in Houston, TX prior to moving to the Greenwood area in 1990.  He was a member of Hillview Baptist Church and enjoyed his family, especially his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandchild, Lillie Waddle, and a  great-grandchild,  Jayce Williamson.  He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Barbara O’Connell Williamson; two sons, Joseph Williamson (Beverly) of Carrollton, Chad Gleason (Christina) of Jonesboro, AR; two daughters, Kimberlee Miller of Carrollton, Amanda Williamson of Carrollton; a brother, Jimmy Williamson (Charlotte) of Carrollton; two sisters, Gail Vaden (Danny) of Bebe, AR, Donna Faulkner (Greg) of Elaine, AR; best friend, Greg Burison, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Williamson, John David Williamson, Jared Miller, Jaiden Miller, Jessie Gleason and John Gleason.  Honorary pallbearers are Zoey Miller, Barbara Nixon and Jaxson Williamson.

Memorials may be made to the Hillview Baptist Church building fund.
