Pauline (Rodgers) Baine

Mrs. Pauline R. Baine, 91, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:30 to 11 A.M. at Greenwood Delta Funeral Home. Services will immediately follow with Rev. Collin Montgomery officiating. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows East Cemetery.

Pauline was born to James Walter and Nina Netherland Rodgers in Ebenezer.  After graduating from Lexington High School, she attended Draughons Business College in Greenwood.  She worked as a respected legal secretary for 43 years retiring in 1995.  She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church where she taught first grade Sunday school for 30 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Fred R. Baine, Jr. She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Alderman (Larry) of Greenwood; a son Freddy Baine (Tammy) of Greenwood; five grandchildren, Ashton Wilson (Chris) of Greenwood, Avery Alderman of Memphis, TN, Tiffany Powers (Glenn) of Brandon, Stephanie Baine of Brandon, Robby Baine of Sydney, Australia; and five great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Greenwood or The Baptist Children’s Village, 114 Marketridge Drive Ridgeland, MS 39157.
