Patricia Tillman

Patricia Carty Tillman, 56, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Merit Health in Canton, MS.  Funeral services are 11 A.M. Friday, June 30, at First Baptist Church Greenwood with Rev. Ed McDaniel officiating.  Interment will follow at McNutt Cemetery in Schlater.  Visitation is Friday from 9-11 A.M. at the church.

Patricia was born in Greenwood to Marvin Collier “Jake” Tillman, Sr. and Norma Carty Tillman.  She was a lifelong resident of Minter City, attended Pillow Academy and was a member of First Baptist Church.  She was an avid Bulldog fan. Patricia loved to read, draw, swim, and spend time with her nieces and nephews.  Her favorite nickname was “Delta Girl” which she truly was!

Miss Tillman was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Joseph Tillman.  She is survived by her sister, Lee Ann Riddle (Randy) of Madison; her brother, Collier Tillman (Bea) of Schlater; her nieces and nephews, Anna Riddle of Harrison, NY, Carty Tillman (Ashley) of Minter City, Matthew Riddle of Atlanta, GA, Bethany Fuller (Rob) of Ridgeland, Ben Riddle of Madison and her great nieces, Josephine Tillman and Jane Clayton Tillman.

Pallbearers will be Carty Tillman, Matthew Riddle, Ben Riddle, Rob Fuller, Milo LeDoux, Carty Tillman, Rob Fuller, Bubba Deloach, and Ray Hemphill

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, Pillow Academy, or the charity of donor’s choice.
