Page Whites, 62, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at her home in Greenwood. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 6, at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity, with Fr. Don Chancellor officiating. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 9:30 to 11:00 A.M. prior to the service.
Page was born in Greenwood to Lance Edward Clemes and Betty Ann Stribling. She moved to Naples, Florida, at an early age but returned to Greenwood during her sophomore year of high school, once again making it her home. She graduated from Pillow Academy and later from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. On March 15, 1982, she married Perry Whites, and together they shared 43 wonderful years of marriage.
A devoted member of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity, Page was active in the Episcopal Church Women (ECW), was a lifetime member of the Junior Auxiliary, and generously gave her time to the Greenwood Food Pantry and the Hot Dog Ministry at St. John’s Methodist Church. Her faith and compassion were evident in all that she did. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Page loved spending time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren were the joys of her life and she found her greatest happiness by being with the people she loved. She is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Perry Whites; two daughters, Stribling Hargett (Ben) of Greenwood and Reynolds Brantley (Christopher) of Jackson; and five cherished grandchildren: Henry Holmes Hargett, Jane Reynolds Hargett, George Hines Brantley, Mary Stribling Brantley, and Alice Perry Brantley.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Belk, Frank Leflore, Henry Hargett, Caleb Whites, John Doty Porter, and William Leflore. Honorary pallbearers include Dr. Henry Flautt, Adron Belk, Christian Belk, Josh Whites, Dink Strain, and Randy Moss.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the many friends, extended family members, neighbors, and caregivers who have surrounded Page with love, support, and constant prayer since her cancer diagnosis. Your kindness, visits, meals, letters, and unwavering faith brought tremendous comfort and strength to Page and her family during this journey. Your generosity will never be forgotten.
Memorials may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Nativity, the Greenwood Food Pantry, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, or the charity of the donor’s choice.
