Myers Katherine McNeer, infant daughter of Hunter and Courtney Burgess McNeer, was born Tuesday, July 5, 2022 and departed this earth to her heavenly home shortly thereafter, surrounded in love by her family at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS.
Myers was welcomed to her eternal home in Glory by a host of great grandparents including Emma Katherine Burgess, the Burgess family matriarch, fondly known as “Granny.”
Myers is survived by her parents, maternal grandparents, Steve and Linda Burgess of Carroll County; paternal grandparents, Jim and Kim McNeer of Greenwood; paternal great grandparents, Kenny and Jenny Thompson of Greenwood and Don McNeer of Carrollton. Survivors also include her Aunts and Uncles; Cannon and Carla Burgess of Greenwood, Austin and Reed Douglas of Monroe, LA, Clay and Carter Perry of Greenwood, and her cousins, Asa and Barron Burgess, Jaxon and Evelynn Douglas and Shepherd Perry.
Myers Katherine had her mother’s radiant beauty and joyous spirit along with her Dad’s unwavering strength and bravery.
Visitation will be held in the sanctuary of North Greenwood Baptist Church Friday, July 8, 2022 from 10 A.M. until noon. Graveside services will immediately follow in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton, MS. Rev. Terry Barnes will officiate.
Pallbearers are Cannon Burgess, Austin Douglas, Clay Perry and Brady Sims.
