Maxine West

Coila, MS: Maxine West, 81, passed away Monday, January 28, 2019 at her home in Carroll County.  Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday February 6 at Hill View Stone Cemetery.  Rev. David Bartlett will officiate.

Maxine was born and raised in Sacramento, CA and moved to this area 20 years ago.  She was a faithful member of Hill View Baptist Church where she volunteered in numerous areas including the church office, church library and other areas.  She enjoyed gardening, camping, reading, children, and had a passion for animals.  She was preceded in death by her son, Doug Worley.   

She is survived by a son, Dan Worley, Jr., of Sacramento, CA, a daughter, Jeanette Loden of Greenwood, MS, five grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be the deacons of the church, Caleb Bartlett, Josh Houston, Wesley Gregg, Trent Harrell, Damian Scott, Justin Deaton and Jeff Houston.
