Mary Frances “Butch” Ellis, 76, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2019 at her home in Greenwood, MS surrounded by her family  Funeral services are 3 P. M. Saturday September 7 at Greenwood Delta Funeral Home with interment in Odd Fellows East Cemetery.  Rev. Lanny Haley will officiate.  Visitation is from 1:30 to  3 P.M. at the funeral home.

“Butch” was born in Eupora, MS to William James and Jewel Frances Middleton, grew up in Grenada and had been a Greenwood resident for over 60 years.  She was a Member of the Mt. Pisgah Church.  “Butch” is preceded in death by her parents, a sister; Hazel Ann Middleton and a step-son; Larry M. Ellis, Jr.

She is survived by her husband; Larry M. Ellis of Greenwood, three daughters; Paula Mims of Greenwood, Terri Boggan of Madison, Nicki Lary (Michael) of Greenwood, a son; Mark Boggan (Kim), a step-son; Jimmy Boggan (Tina), a step-daughter; Shan E. Henry all of Greenwood, two sisters; Brenda Carver (Freddy) of Teoc, Jan Hoffman of Waterloo, IL, a brother; William James Middleton, Jr., (Ann) of North Carolina, 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be; Taylor Williams, Graham Boggan, Steele Mims, Charles Ellis, Brian Rogers and John Storms.
