Louise R. Hammons, 89

Mrs. Hammons, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Grenada Living Center, Grenada, MS where she had been battling Alzheimer for the last 5 years.

Louse Reichman Hammons was born February 7, 1930 in Belzoni, MS.

She is survived by her spouse of 47 years, Edgar Walton Hammons, Carrollton, MS; daughter Teresa (Greg) Wilson, Overland Park, KS; stepdaughters- Kay Daniels, Ballwin, MO; Jayne (Neil) Turner, Leland, MS; Margaret (Lee) Smith; stepsons; Larry (Stella) Hammons and Ed Hammons;  all of Carrollton, MS.  Six Grandchildren- Garrett (Blake) Wilson, Dallas, TX; Chet (Ashley) Wilson, Frisco, TX; Kenneth (Bonnie) Daniels, Wildwood, MO; Melisa Sturtevant, Tillatobia, MS; Brandon Hammons, Greenwood, MS; Haley Turner, Leland, MS, Angie Hatten and three great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by stepdaughter Mary Ann Hammons and granddaughter, Candy Farrior.

Memorial Services for Mrs. Hammons will be held at a later date.
