Jessica Davis

Jessica Morgan Davis, 31, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022 at her home in Greenwood MS.  She is now resting in peace with her Heavenly father and Mom and Dad.   She was a lifelong resident of Greenwood and a graduate of Pillow Academy and attended Mississippi Delta Community College.

Jessica enjoyed both Ole Miss athletics as well as Miss State athletics, following after her mom and dad. She was a mother to little Hunter, her son, and cherished their time together. She is preceded in death by her father Scotty Davis of Oxford; Mother, Amy Davis of Greenwood and both Grandfathers, Mel Davis of Oxford and Jerry “Smitty” Smith of Carrolton, MS.

 Surviving family includes her son Hunter Swopes of Greenwood; Grandmother Beverly Smith of Greenwood; Grandmother, Betty Davis of Oxford; a sister, Casey Joe Hicks of Wichita KS, Uncle and Aunt Scott and Angela Smith of Hot Springs, AR and three first cousins Austin Smith and Morgan Smith both of Memphis, TN and Peyton Smith of Hot Springs, AR.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
