Roy “Glen” Robertson, 75, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020 at his home in Blackhawk, MS, surrounded by his family. Visitation is from 1:00P – 5:00P Tuesday, March 31 at Greenwood Delta Funeral Home. Visitation will be come and go with limited time. Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 1, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Larry Edwards officiating.
Glen was born in Blackhawk, MS and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Vaiden High School in 1963. Glen retired from Carroll County after working as a heavy machine operator. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and work in his garden.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents Dewey E. and Monie Lois Robertson of Blackhawk, and a brother Frank Robertson of Sanger, TX. He is survived by two daughters; Sherry Castle (Johnny) of Blackhawk, Lois Eskridge (Barry) of Winona, two sons; Chris Robertson of Dallas, TX, Chad Robertson (Michelle) of Laurel, two sisters; Ruth Brewer (Alton) and Sylvia Mims (Billy) both of Blackhawk, 8 grandchildren; Jon Michael Eskridge, Taylor Eskridge, Ashley Goss, Baylea Malouf, Allie Castle, Avery Castle, Caden Robertson, Colt Robertson, and 1 great granddaughter, Ansley Goss.
Pallbearers will be; Jon Michael Eskridge, Taylor Eskridge, Barry Brewer, Austin Brewer, Ritchie Mims and Morgan Mims. Honorary Pallbearers will be Caden Robertson, Colt Robertson, Timmy Mims and Keefe Brewer.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Olive Baptist Cemetery Fund.
