Frances Smith Fuller, 92, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at her home in Greenwood. Funeral services are 11 A.M. Monday, December 9, at Greenwood Delta Funeral Home with interment in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton. Rev. David Westmoreland and Rev. Jimmy Lovell will officiate. Visitation is from 9-11 prior to the service Monday.
Frances was born to Ward Eugene and Robbie Elise Narmour Smith in Carroll County. She had worked at Medart Locker Co and National Picture Frame Company but spent most of her years as the owner/operator of the We Play Day Care Center. She was known as GanGan not only to her grandchildren and great grandchildren but also by all the children she took care of over the 32 years of running the day care. Frances loved watching the Atlanta Braves Baseball team and taking care of her family and her dog Dizzy. She was a member of the West President Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 68 years Arthur Giles Fuller, a son, Larry Fuller and a granddaughter Candi Johnson. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Westmoreland (Michael) of Greenwood; grandchildren, Brandi Westmoreland of Roanoke, AL, Cyndi Wallace (Dr. David) of Greenwood, Kelly Dodd (Derrick) of Greenwood, Emily Holly (Peyton) of Carrollton, Ashlee Westmoreland of Amory, Tim Johnson (Amy) of Tchula; Great Grandchildren, Addyson Westmoreland of Austin, TX, Emma Wallace of Greenwood, Ella Wallace of Greenwood, Eli Wallace of Greenwood, Neely Dodd of Greenwood, Nash Dodd of Greenwood, Noah Holly of Carrollton, Allie Grace Holly of Carrollton, John Abram Holly of Carrollton, Abry Holly of Carrollton, Ty Johnson (Hannah), Tchula, MS, Luke Johnson (Katie) Hernando, MS and two great-great grandchildren, Liza Johnson and Lucy Johnson of Tchula, MS
Pallbearers will be Derrick Dodd, Dr. David Wallace, Noah Holly, Peyton Holly, John Abram Holly, Eli Wallace and Nash Dodd. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Johnson, Ty Johnson, Luke Johnson, and Roy Smith.
The family wishes to offer a special word of thanks to Golden Age Nursing home and Legacy Hospice.
