Exie (Prestridge) Ryon

Exie P. Ryon passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at her home in Oakland, Ms.
Exie was born on November 23, 1939 in Schlater, Ms. to Trannie and Ova Tinnon Prestridge.
Exie is survived by a son, Jerry Paul (Christina) of Pontotoc, a loving niece, Cindy Sadler (Mike) of Germantown, Tn., her special family, April Holliman (Mickey) and Wanda Smith of Oakland, MS, who lovingly cared for her, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, a nephew, and a host of friends who were like her family, and last, but not the least, her beloved Addie Girl.
Exie was preceded in death by her parents, Sisters, Norma Temes (twin), Helen Jenkins, and Brother, RB Prestridge.
A special thank you to Accent Care Hospice of Grenada for the love and care you gave to our precious Exie. She loved each and every one of you more than you will ever know.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
A small graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Greenwood, Ms. at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Keith Burney of Water Valley officiating.  Burial will be at a later time.
