David Michael McCuan

David M. McCuan, 69, passed away June 1, 2022 the University of MS Medical Center in Jackson.  Funeral services are 3 P.M. Sunday, June 5, at Greenwood Delta Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Clayton officiating.  Interment will follow in Itta Bena Cemetery.  Visitation is Sunday from 1-3 prior to the service.

David was born in Greenwood to Morris McCuan and Billie McCuan Vickery.  He graduated from Greenwood High School and MS Delta Community College with an Associates Degree.  He worked as an electronics technician for Delta Communications for many years and recently worked for Heartland Catfish in the security department.  David was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting. David was a devoted husband and loving Uncle.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Mac McCuan.  Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Debbie  McCuan; his brother Ricky McCuan (Tammy) of Water Valley; sister-in-law, Patricia Elliott (Mike) of Albany, GA; Brother-in-Law, Jimmy Brasel (Marie) of Horn Lake; nieces and nephews, Lisa, Robin, Connie, Janie and Kim.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Wolfe, Ray Brasel, Bobby Box, Tommy McCrory,
Darrell Belk, Mike Ellis, Steve McCrimmon and William Tucker.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis.
