Charles Lawrence Hall, III

Charles Lawrence Hall, III, 74 passed away Wednesday, January, 22, 2025 at the Greenwood Leflore Hospital in Greenwood, MS, with his wife and daughters by his side.  A memorial service will be held 3 P.M. Sunday, February 23, 2025, at St John’s Methodist Church with Rev. Ben Butler and Rev. Brad Hodges officiating.    Visitation is from 1-3 prior to the service

Charles was born and raised in Greenwood, graduated from Greenwood High School and majored in music at Memphis State University.  He opened Charles Hall Studio in 1984 which he owned and operated until his health began to fail.  In his studio he sold instruments, taught music, recorded and produced music.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Roxanne Watkins Hall; two daughters Gretchen Pratt (Davis) of Knoxville TN, Gwendolyn Chrismond (Ryan) of Greenwood and three grandchildren, Callista Nelms, Camryn Chrismond and Clive Pratt.

Memorials may be made to the charity of donor’s choice.
