Bobby Lee Baker, Jr., 80, passed away Monday, April 20, 2020 at his home in Madison, MS. Private family graveside services will be held Friday, April 24 at Odd Fellows Cemetery with Dr. Jim Phillips officiating.
Bobby was born in Greenwood to Bobbie Lee and Juanita Fraiser Baker. He was a long time resident of Greenwood prior to retiring and moving to Madison ten years ago. Bobby’s passion was “Tradewinds Weekly,” which he founded, owned and operated for many years. He also enjoyed keeping his yard immaculate. He was the recipient of “Yard of The Month” too many times to count. Bobby was also a former owner of Webster’s restaurant. He was also a veteran of the US Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Johnny R. Baker. Survivors include a sister; Bonnie Provine of Greenwood, his nieces and nephews; Becky Charlton (Mark) of Bell Buckle, TN, Johnny R. Baker, Jr .(Lacie) of Picayune, Jonbob Wise (Whitney) of Greenwood, Robbin Chamblee (Mark) of Madison, Fraiser Mattox (Timothy) of Madison and numerous great nieces and nephews.
