Charles William “Bo” Branch, 81, passed away Saturday April 29, 2023, at his home in Morgan City. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Elk's Lodge on John Pittman Drive in Greenwood from 6-8 P.M..
Bo was born and raised in Sidon. His parents were Audley William and Mary Lee McKay Branch. He graduated from Leflore County High School and MS Delta Community College. He served for 18 years as Leflore County Justice Court Judge and owned and operated Morgan City Grocery for fifty years as well as several other business ventures. He was a member of the Morgan City Baptist Church and a life member of the Greenwood Elks Lodge.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Carolyn Cummins Branch; two daughters, Leslie Branch Warrington (Dr. James Edward) of Cleveland, Ann Branch Sullivan (Rocky) of Teoc; two sons, Charles Audley “Audie” Branch (Allie) of Oxford, Jonathan William Branch (Denise) of Brandon; a sister, Lucy Cooper Hodges of Gulfport and eleven grandchildren; Carrie Jarrett Henderson (Tyler) of Little Rock, AR, William Joseph Jarrett of Cleveland, Krystopher Sullivan of Teoc, Ancel Elizabeth Branch of St. Louis, MO, Laurie Audley Branch of Oxford, Maecy Meredith Branch of Oxford, Charles Audley Branch, II of Oxford, Ara Harris of Brandon, Sadie Harris of Brandon, Cooper McKay Branch of Brandon and Beau Roberson Branch of Brandon.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s research hospital or the charity of donor’s choice.
