Betty Henderson

Mrs. Betty Henderson, age 72, passed away at home peacefully January 16, 2025, surrounded by her family. Services will be held at Greenwood Delta Funeral Home on Friday January 24, 2025. Visitation will be held at 1:00 P.M. with services to follow at 2:00 P.M.

Betty loved to watch the birds and squirrels gather at the feeders around her porch. She loved her flowers and trees, anything of nature she loved. Magnolias were her absolute favorite flower. She loved the changing of the leaves that come fall and the budding and blooming of trees and flowers in the springtime. Most of all she really loved being with her family and friends when they came over for visits.

Betty is lovingly remembered by her family, her husband Roy Henderson, Sr, her two children Roy Allen “Trey” Henderson (Ginger), and Nikki Henderson. Her grandchildren, Abbie Henderson, Carolyn Henderson, and Danica Daves. Her siblings, Clayton Hobson (Olivia), Bubba Roy Henderson (Shelia), Janie Morgan, Jack Hobson, and Earl Hobson (Peggy).

She is preceded in death by her mother and father Pearlie Kelly Hobson, and Johnny Hobson, sisters Mamie Boutte, Sadie Campell, and Lynn Powell. Her brothers Lester Hobson, Carlton Hobson, and James Hobson.

Memorials can be made to donors’ choice in honor of Mrs. Betty.
