Becky Lea Floyd (née Coon, formerly Williams) passed away peacefully at 1:58 a.m. on December 16, 2024, surrounded by her family. She has now joined her beloved husband, Franklin O. Floyd, in eternal rest. Graveside services are 11 A.M. January 3, 2024 at the Linn Baptist Church Cemetery.
Becky is lovingly remembered by her children, Justin Williams, Kenneth Williams, and Amanda Williams; her daughter-in-law, Ramona Williams; her grandsons, Trae Williams, Jordan Williams, Espn Williams, Tyrell Williams, and Jared Williams; and her great-grandchildren, Beckett Williams, Tatum Williams, and Aurora Williams. She was predeceased by her first husband, Gerald K. Williams; her second husband, Franklin O. Floyd; her parents, Cecil and Hazel Coon; her brother, Thomas Coon; and her sister, Mary Jo Coon.
Becky proudly served her country for 18 years in the Army and Air National Guard. In the Army, she served as part of the Security Forces before transitioning to the Air National Guard, where she became the Base On-the-Job Training Manager. In this role, she oversaw the training of all base personnel with dedication and precision.
Becky and Franklin shared a love of travel and adventure. Together, they embarked on seven cruises that took them from the Bahamas to the Panama Canal. Becky also had a deep affection for animals and often fostered dogs and cats while they awaited their forever homes.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to local animal shelters in Becky’s honor. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
