Annie Ruth Cobb Millsaps, 85, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Indywood Glen Personal Care Home in Greenwood. Services for Mrs. Millsaps will be held Tuesday, June 16th at Greenwood Delta Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 10:00am followed by her service at 11:00. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows East Cemetery.
Mrs. Millsaps was born and raised in Belzoni and spent most of her adult life in Carroll and Leflore Counties. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Greenwood, a dedicated Girl Scout troop leader, and an active participant in the Pillow Academy PTO. A licensed Realtor for over 40 years, she was also a member of the Greenwood Board of Realtors serving as election chairperson for many of those.
Annie is preceded in death by her husband Gene Austin Millsaps, her parents, Harper and Mae Sue Cobb, a sister, and three brothers. She is survived by three daughters, Donna Sessions (Tim) of Ferriday, LA, Charlotte Cheatham (Byron) of Auburn, AL, Christy Buddin (Jay) of Charleston, SC, Step-Daughters Patricia Perkins (Perry) of Slidell, LA, Debbie Recio (Paul Donald) of Florence, MS; brother, Richard Cobb (Patsy) of Ridgeland, MS, 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Larry Alderman, Freddie Baine, Bubba Deloach, Collier Tillman, Brian Waldrop, and Chris Wilson.
