Annette W. Therrell, 79, passed away Tuesday morning, December 3, 2019 at the University Medical Center in Jackson. Funeral services are 11 A.M. Friday, Dec. 6 at Greenwood Delta Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Clayton officiating. Interment is 3 P.M. at Blythe Creek Baptist Church cemetery near Mathiston. Visitation is from 9:30-11 Friday prior to the funeral.
Annette was born in Swiftown to Raymon Wesley and Althea Dell Willey, she graduated from Mathiston High School and received her degree from cosmetology school. She married Hugh Therrell and they made their home in Greenwood for over 50 years. She owned her own hair salon and also worked for many years at Golden Age Nursing Home. Annette was a faithful member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
Annette was preceded in death by her husband Hugh, her parents, and a sister; Fannie Shurden.
She is survived by her daughter; Cynthia Therrell White, a granddaughter; Crystal Higginbotham, a grandson; Brandon Thomas all of Greenwood, a sister Lynn Dunn (Harvey) of Mathiston and a brother; Jimmy Lee Willey of Gautier, MS.
Pallbearers will be Andy Dunn, Harvey Dunn, Steve McCrimmon, Tommy McCrory, Bobby Box and Bill Gardner.
Memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church or the charity of donor’s choice.
