Rhianna Billings

Rhianna Billings, 19, passed away after a brief illness Thursday morning, November 14, 2019 at the Greenwood Leflore Hospital.  A celebration of her life will be held 2 P.M. Monday, November 18 at Adams Arbor Church of God of Prophecy in Charleston. Pastor Phillip Pharr will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation is from 1-2 P.M. Monday prior to the service.   

Rhianna was born and raised in Greenwood and Philipp, she graduated from East Tallahatchie High School and was attending Delta State University where she was preparing to make teaching her career before she left this earth much too soon. Rihanna expressed her love for others with huge hugs. She would be the first person to sit down with someone who looked lonely. Her favorite thing was to give people compliments. She loved seeing the smile on their faces when she encouraged them. Her creative writing, jewelry, and cosplay hobbies we're just a few of the activities she most enjoyed. She had many friends from high school, college and Internet groups who have expressed how much she touched their lives. Of course she was loved by all of us on both sides of her family.

Preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Brower Foster, she is survived by her father; Jason Billings of Kosciusko, her two aunts;, Lea Hammons (Joel) of Ruleville, Judy Nail (Glenn) of Greenwood and an uncle; Randall Brower (Amy) of Tanana, AK.

Her Pallbearers will be Joel Hammons, Larry Earp, Danny Adams, James Winters, Randall Brower and Stacy Hargett.  Kerry Pernell will be an honorary pallbearer.

Memorials may be made to the Adams Arbor Church of God of Prophecy.
