Angela Hankins Holliman, 56, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, TX after a 27 month battle with cancer. A memorial service will be 11 A.M. Saturday, December 1 at the Greenwood Church of God. Pastor Michael Mooneyham and Pastor J. P. Wilson will officiate. Visitation is from 10 -11 Saturday at the church.
Angela was born in Greenwood, MS to George and Carolyn Young Hankins, raised in Greenwood and graduated from Greenwood High School. For the past 20 years she has been a resident of Orange Beach, AL
Angela was strong in her faith and devoted to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, and gammi, and loved her family and friends. She was a faithful member of Liberty Community Church in Foley, was a life member of the Junior Auxiliary, and was an avid tennis player, playing in the 4.0 division. She also loved animals and was actively involved in the local Humane Society. She especially loved boating with her husband, Jerry, having made numerous boat trips to several areas in Florida.
Angela is survived by her husband, Jerry Holliman, a son; Mitchell K Holliman and his wife Jen of Orange Beach, two grandchildren; Landon Holliman of Grenada, MS and Milly Holliman of Orange Beach, her parents; George and Carolyn Hankins of Greenwood, MS and a brother; Danny Hankins of Natchez, MS.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
